The Choice Auto Body Repair Association (CARA) – Southwest Michigan will be holding a meeting on Oct. 25 in Battle Creek, Mich., to discuss:
• How to continue to make money in the face of rising paint material costs
• Getting paid off your estimate
• Getting paid for all the work you do with a special insider look at the collision billing claims database
Keynote speaker Peter Traska of Traska Law Firm will discuss using paint material calculators instead of the hourly calculation method to get paid for paint materials.
Rick Finney, president of CARA and owner of Finney’s Automotive, will discuss the unique way he was able to get insurance companies to honor his invoices by focusing on taking control of the business transaction.
Chuck Gosney, president of Collision Billing Services, will offer an inside look into his company’s proprietary claims database program and how they use it to get their clients paid for the work they do.
The meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. Registration is $50 and $35 for additional people in your party. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided.
