The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) announced that Claim Genius has joined the association as a corporate member.
Based in New Jersey, Claim Genius was established to revolutionize the speed and efficiency of the auto claims and salvage industries through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The company’s patent-pending GENIUS suite provides insurance carriers, salvage firms and car leasing companies with an integrated AI damage estimation platform.
Raj Pofale, senior technology executive and product development leader at Claim Genius, said this enables clients an instant AI assessment of claims based on photos uploaded from a carrier’s mobile app so they can rapidly settle a claim. Claim Genius first learned about CIECA through another member and decided to join the organization shortly after.
“We believe that bringing the best technology practices and standardization to the industry are great initiatives by CIECA and we are excited to contribute to this goal,” said Pofale. “Claim Genius is contributing to CIECA’s architecture committee to introduce the best technology practices to be used by carriers.”
Pofale said that CIECA standards are important for the industry because they make everyone’s jobs easier for technological integration.
“Bringing the standardization across the board helps carriers and product platforms integrate seamlessly without much effort,” he said.
