Classic Collision announced the opening of a state-of-the-art collision repair center in Sandy Springs, Ga. The 70,000-square-foot facility will occupy the former Tom Jumper parts and service buildings. The facility has been transformed from a typical service center into a "very elegant and warm environment," according to Class Collision.
When at capacity, the Sandy Springs location will repair as many as 8,000 vehicles annually and is scheduled to employ 40 to 50 people in the coming year.
The Classic Collision organization says its annual sales growth is largely due to a commitment to customer care and is mainly driven in repeat and referral relationships with satisfied consumers, dealers, fleets and insurers. The standard for Classic Collision is customer satisfaction as the main focus, with quality repairs, in a timely manner, and regular customer updates.
With the addition of the Sandy Springs location, Classic Collision, which was started in 1983, now operates eight locally owned collision repair centers with 230 employees. All Classic Collision locations have state-of-the-art repair equipment that exceeds industry standards, the company says. The organization has collision repair certifications for Mercedes Benz, Jaguar and Sprinter and use the approved paint line DuPont Spies Hecker brand of paint products, which offers a lifetime warranty.
Classic facilities also provide collision repair work exclusively for 24 automotive dealerships, and in addition, they are BMW and Lexus approved. Classic Collision is in the top 10 for Customer Satisfaction and repair cycle times by two of the top 10 insurers. The company says its insurance relationships are very strong, and Classic is approved for direct repair programs for most major insurance companies.
The owner, Manfred Kammerer, is a well-respected Atlanta businessman and former professional soccer player in Germany and Atlanta.
Manfred said, “We were excited to transform a former car dealership service building into a premier collision center rather than starting from scratch. The facility has converted quite well from a service center to an elite Classic Collision repair center. We really have enjoyed working with the local government agencies in Sandy Springs as the project has progressed. Now we are turning our attention to earning the trust of the local customers. We will exceed their expectation by creating positive repair services to build a loyal customer base.”
Tim Dawe, Eastern regional manager DuPont Performance Coatings, added, “DuPont chose to partner with Classic Collision because of their commitment to continuous learning and improvement as evidenced by nearly zero paint or workmanship warranty claims. We are proud to have Classic Collision as our customer.”
