Collision Hub/NABC Future Leaders Broadcast to Feature State Farm’s George Avery

Collision Hub and the National Auto Body Council (NABC) have announced the next episode of Future Leaders will be April 14 at 1pm EDT. The one-hour Web-streaming meeting is produced for students and newcomers to the collision repair industry.

This month’s edition will feature George Avery of State Farm Insurance. As a consultant for State Farm, he is responsible for a wide range of duties that are essential to the operation of the nation’s largest insurer. In addition to his corporate duties, he is currently serving as President of the NABC.

“We are excited to have the NABC and George Avery as part of the ongoing mentoring and support program for these students and newcomers to our industry,” said Collision Hub CEO Kristen Felder. “It’s important our industry leaders share their experiences and encourage others in their education and careers.”

Avery will provide a retrospective on his career and the decisions, starting from his time as a technician, which led him to his current position. Also in this edition, NABC board members will discuss their involvement in Future Leaders and how the program aligns with the mission of their organization.

Each online episode of Future Leaders features a different industry representative who is also a member of Collision Hub. These leaders will tell their story of how they began their career in the industry and events leading up to their current position. Students will be able to ask questions and receive expert career advice.

In addition, when the broadcast concludes, attendees will have the opportunity to continue networking with the speaker through Collision Hub.
