Collision Repair Education Foundation Adds New Member to Board of Trustees

Pam Overton, claims vice president for Allstate, to serve on organization's executive board.

Claims Vice President Pam Overton of Allstate has joined the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees.

The organization’s Board of Trustees consists of industry members who provide guidance in its efforts to support secondary and post-secondary collision students nationwide. The board selects recipients of the organization’s annual student scholarships and tool grants, in addition to naming the winning Ultimate Collision Education Makeover schools.

“I would like to thank Pam for joining our Board of Trustees," said Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski. "She will be a valuable addition to our group of industry members who volunteer their time to assist our organization in providing support to the industry’s future professionals. Allstate Insurance has been one of our leading supporters over the years, and we welcome Pam in helping us taking the Collision Repair Education Foundation to the next level.”

Added Overton, “I’m excited to be a part of such a forward-thinking and well-respected group of trustees. In this role, I’ll have the chance to influence the industry’s future, and I look forward to that opportunity and working with such a distinguished group.”

Overton began her Allstate career in Houston, Texas, in 1981. She progressed through a variety of claim positions and leadership roles in the field and in the company’s home office. Her most recent positions include vice president, Tech-Cor research; senior manager, Allstate auto claims; claims field director, southern region; vice president, claims property; and vice president, claims auto. She is a University of Florida graduate and is working toward her MBA at Lake Forest College.
