The Society of Collision Repairers (SCRS) announced the winner of one in a series of prize drawings at the SEMA Show made possible through the participation of SCRS and its sponsors. Glen Caudle, Owner of Glendale Collision in Saskatoon, Canada, is the winner of a CM253 MIG/MAG Welder donated by Car-O-Liner.
"I couldn’t believe it when I received the call," Caudle said. "I’ve been coming to the SEMA Show for the past four years, but I’ve never won anything like this. I’m so happy to have won this from SCRS, and what makes it great is I already use Car-O-Liner equipment in my shop. We can’t wait to put it to work!"
To become eligible for the drawing, visitors to the SCRS booth had to pick up a "report card" listing all RDE sponsors and their booth locations within the show. The participant then had to visit each RDE sponsor’s exhibit, have a company representative stamp the card and return the completed card to the SCRS booth for entry into the drawing.
"We were excited to have the opportunity to provide this promotional gift as support for the ongoing efforts of SCRS to promote a stronger, more educated collision repair industry," said National Sales Manager for Car-O-Liner Doug Bortz. "Congratulations to Mr. Caudle. The SEMA Show provides an excellent venue to meet customers like him, and to share new products and ideas with our customers and industry partners. We are happy to have participated in a successful event that is so meaningful to our customers in the collision repair industry."
SCRS thanks Car-O-Liner for its ongoing support and congratulates Caudle.
"This drawing is one small way we can give back to the industry for the tremendous growth RDE has experienced this year," said SCRS Chairman Aaron Clark. "If the 2011 SEMA Show is any indication, the future is full of promise for collision repairers. It’s a good time to be part of SCRS."
