ComputerLogic Names Ikner Director of Marketing

Rick Palmer, president and CEO of ComputerLogic, has named Andrew C. Ikner as the company’s director of marketing. Ikner will manage the marketing team for ComputerLogic, a developer of IT solutions for the automotive aftermarket.

Ikner, who began working with ComputerLogic as a marketing consultant on the firm’s PMCLogic Paint and Materials Management System, has over 15 years of experience in marketing to the automotive and insurance industries. Ikner holds degrees in journalism, marketing/advertising, an MBA from Georgia College & State University and “Green
Belt” certification in Lean/Six Sigma.

“Andrew brings a broad range of marketing experience to our organization, and I am sure he will provide a fresh perspective on how to better communicate the value that PMCLogic brings to this challenging and complex marketplace," said Palmer.

Ikner said, “I look forward to this opportunity to use what I’ve learned as a marketer and
process engineer to make a difference in this industry. It’s an exciting assignment, and I believe in ComputerLogic’s mission statement to ‘do the right thing, for the right reason, the right way.’"

“Timing has a lot to do with why I am so excited about this opportunity," he added. "It’s almost universally agreed by everyone in the collision repair industry that there’s a need for more accurate calculation of the paint and materials actually used in the repair process. "The fact that all of the players, from insurers and repairers to manufacturers and suppliers, share a desire to address difficult issues during these challenging times, makes this new role an important responsibility."
