Connecticut CARSTAR Shops Attain I-CAR Gold Status

Five Connecticut CARSTAR locations have attained I-CAR Gold Class Professionals status: Ray’s CARSTAR in Bristol; NEC CARSTAR in West Haven, Collision Automotive CARSTAR in East Hartford, Pete’s CARSTAR in South Windsor and CARSTAR Berlin in Berlin.

CARSTAR encourages continuing education and training within the collision repair industry. Many facilities have earned the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals status, which is recognized as one of the highest training certifications for businesses in the collision industry. To earn the Gold Class Professionals designation, all employees who work directly in collision repair or estimating process are required to complete 5 points of tested training (or roughly 20 hours). Each employee must complete 2 additional points annually (roughly eight hours) for a business location to maintain its Gold Class status.
