Cooks Collision Opens 28th Location in Silicon Valley

Largest family-owned collision repair business in U.S. goes from 18 locations in Northern California to 28 statewide in one year.

Cooks Collision has opened its 28th location in Redwood City, Calif. The 11,000-square-foot facility, located at 1800 Industrial Way, will also serve the cities of San Carlos, San Mateo, Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Belmont, commonly referred to as the “Silicon Valley.”

“Cooks opened its first location, also in Redwood City, in 1979, not far from this new location. It’s an amazing full-circle experience for my brother Rick and I to expand in Redwood City and to serve the dynamic Silicon Valley area,” said Don Wood, co-CEO. “We plan to continue our expansion in Silicon Valley with the addition of new locations.”

A year ago, Cooks Collision had 18 locations in Northern California. With the acquisition of six locations in Southern California, and additional growth in Northern California, the company now has 28 locations statewide. The company is the largest family-owned and operated collision repair business in the U.S.

“Figuring out how to best study for an exam can be a challenge," said Matt Shepanek, vice president, credential testing programs for ASE. "Those preparing for ASE certification can get a good idea of what to expect by adding the official ASE practice tests to their study plans.
