Craftsman Auto Body Acquires Bates Collision

New location features close proximity to Fredricksburg and Charlottsville, Va.

Craftsman Auto Body, a third generation, family-owned collision repairer with retail locations across Virginia, has announced the acquisition of Bates Collision. The 31,000-square-foot facility is located at 15388 Bradford Road in Culpeper, Va, which is in close proximity to Fredericksburg and Charlottesville. The new shop marks the business’ 10th location.

“Paul Bates established an excellent reputation in Culpeper that Craftsman can build upon,” said Craftsman President Paul Krauss. “We are excited to grow in the Culpeper community. This facility is an important hub for our continued expansion south.”
