Database Enhancement Gateway Launches Redesigned Website

Website allows collision repairers to more easily submit inquiries to information providers regarding issues they have with estimating systems.


The Database Enhancement Gateway (DEG, a website developed to help improve the quality and accuracy of collision repair estimates, has announced the launch of its fully redesigned website, located at The renovated site provides a fresh new look and improved navigation, as well as new features added to enhance the end-user’s experience on the site.

The functions of submitting an inquiry and viewing previous inquiries remain central components of the website, but the new design produces a better visual experience and allows the DEG to communicate more frequently with the industry about database-related issues.

The most significant website addition is the display of a “Top 10 List” for each of the three estimating platforms. In contrast with DEG inquiries that are typically year/make/model-specific, these lists are populated by end-user input reflecting macro-level issues or enhancements users would like to see addressed within these estimating products. Estimating guides and P-pages are still readily accessible with the new design, and the user will have the ability to receive Tweets about new and previous inquiries that are important to the collision industry by following @thedegweb.
