DCR IP Company, LLC has entered into a long-term area development and master license agreement with newly formed entity 6LK Collision, LLC. This strategic partnering will allow DCR to quickly expand its infrastructure to the Western states.

Under the agreement, 6LK Collision, LLC will license the company’s “lean” collision repair production system and grow DCR Systems, initially, in Northern California and Northern Nevada.

The initial 6LK Collision location will be built in Reno, Nev., and the 12,000-square-foot service and repair facility is scheduled to open in early 2009.

This area development agreement comes on the heels of DCR’s formation of DCR IP Company LLC and its strategic development agreement with Akzo Nobel, furthering the reach of DCR’s operating model.
