The Database Enhancement Gateway (DEG), a collaborative initiative developed by the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP), the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS), announced that it’s conducting a search for a new program administrator.
The DEG, which was started in 2008, was established to provide collision estimating system end-users with a standardized process to provide feedback to the information providers in an effort to promote collision estimating data accuracy.
The DEG administrator will be expected to carry forth the good work of interfacing between estimating system end-users and information providers, and processing inquiries and the resolutions that stem from them. The position requires the applicant to hold a thorough familiarity with all three primary estimating platforms while performing a variety of other essential business tasks associated with the position.
Current Administrator Bud Center has contracted with the DEG to remain in place processing inquiries until a qualified applicant has been found.
The profile for the DEG Administrator position is now available for viewing on the DEG website.
Interested applicants who feel they meet the requirements and can bring innovation and passion for database issues to the project are encouraged to submit their resumes or proposals to [email protected] on or before Jan. 28, 2011.
