The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) presented the WIN Cornerstone Award to Denise Caspersen of National Autobody Parts Warehouse and Ruth Weniger of Airbag Solutions during the organization’s eighth annual Educational Conference, held in San Diego, Calif.
The WIN Cornerstone Award recognizes the efforts of a board member whose actions and unique contributions demonstrate her commitment to the WIN mission and vision, and sets an example for others. This year’s recipients were not disclosed prior to the event, and the awards were presented by WIN Chair Margaret Knell during the conference’s opening.
Caspersen has served on a number of committees including membership, governance and the nominating committee, while Weniger was recognized for leading the organization’s communications efforts.
“It was an honor to recognize these women for their tremendous efforts and contributions on behalf of WIN,” said Knell. “We are fortunate to have dedicated board members who are committed to the future viability of WIN.”
