Dupli-Color Restores Two Historic Vehicles

1969 International Harvester Scout 800 (shown) and 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring refinished with Paint Shop Finish System.

Dupli-Color recently restored two historic vehicles: a 1969 International Harvester Scout 800 and a 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring.

The Scout is owned by an American Iraq War veteran who received it as a gift from her late grandfather, a World War II veteran. Dupli-Color brought new life to this American classic through the use of its Paint Shop Finish System in Deep Blue Metallic, its Wheel Coating, Vinyl and Fabric Coating, and Bed Armor.

Dupli-Color also teamed up with VHT, a division of the brand specializing in high-temperature paints and coatings, to restore a 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring.  By utilizing the Paint Shop Finish System, the car was refinished with vibrant yellow paint and jet black racing stripes. The project also used a number of VHT products including Engine Enamel, Flameproof, Rust Convertor and Caliper Paint. The Satellite will be on display at the 2014 SEMA/AAPEX show
