DuPont Painted Vehicles on Display at SEMA 2011

An array of vehicles painted with DuPont products will be on display at the 2011 SEMA Show being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nov. 1-4 in Las Vegas.

In addition, the DuPont exhibit, Booth 22789 in Hot Rod Alley, Central Hall, will feature DuPont Cromax Pro Waterborne basecoats, ChromaPremier and Hot Hues custom paint products. Industry airbrush and pinstripe artists will showcase their skills with live demonstrations in the booth using DuPont Cromax Pro waterborne products.

DuPont Finished Vehicles in Central Hall:

• 2011 Ridler Award Winner 1956 Ford Sunliner owned by Bruce Ricks, Sapulpa, Okla.; built and painted by Steve Cook Creations, Oklahoma City, Okla., with custom mixed DuPont Hot Hues, on display in Meguiars Booth 23643.

• 2011 Goodguys Street Rod of the Year Winner 1932 Ford 3 Window – owned by Phil & Debbie Becker, Dwight, Ill.; built and painted by Dave Lane, Fast Lane Rod Shop, Donahue, Iowa, with custom mixed DuPont ChromaPremier, on display in Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) Booth 23287.

• 1947 Dodge Custom, named “Swoopy,” owned by Mike Kinney, Las Vegas, Nev., painted by Extreme Automotive, Corona, Calif., with DuPont Hot Hues Sinful Cinnamon and cleared with DuPont 72200S Clear, will be unveiled on Nov. 1 in Chassis Tech Booth 23279.

• 2012 Ford Mustang, customized by Tjin Edition, painted with DuPont ChromaPremier basecoat colors Porche Orange (775405F) and Hot Hues Sun Kissed Yellow (745536HH) with ChromaPremier 72500S Appearance Clear, on display in Vortech Booth 23057.

•  2012 Ford Explorer, customized by Tjin Edition, painted with DuPont ChromaPremier Grey basecoat (CAS918) with ChromaPremier 72500S Appearance Clear, on display in Ford Booth 22200.

• 2012 Sonic, customized by Tjin Edition, painted with DuPont ChromaPremier basecoat color Ford Grabber Blue (5205F) and DuPont ChromaPremier 72500S Appearance Clear, on display in GM Booth 23743.

• 2012 Cruze, customized by Tjin Edition, painted with DuPont Hot Hues basecoat colors Sun Kissed Yellow (745536HH) Snow Storm White (745630) and Neptune’s Jewel Blue (741796) with DuPont ChromaPremier 72500S Appearance Clear, on display in Royal Purple Booth 23613.

• 1991 Nissan 240SX sponsored by Wrecked Magazine, custom painted by Infinite Auto Design, Huntington Beach, Calif., with DuPont ChromaPremier Honda New Blue Sand Pearl (B562P) with DuPont 72500S Clear, on display in SPEC Clutch Booth 21536.

DuPont Finished Vehicles in South Hall:

•  1965 Chevy pickup – custom painted by Midwest Custom Paint, Fairfield, Ohio, with DuPont ChromaPremier, on display in Forgiato Wheel Booth 48146.

The following vehicles will be on display as featured vehicles throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center:

• Redline Oil 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air built by Dominator Street Rods, Tracy, Calif., painted with custom-mixed silver in DuPont ChromaPremier basecoats, on display outside North Hall and featured at the SEMA Dinner Reception.

• 1924 Dodge Five Window Coupe – owned, built and painted by Robert Carlson, Troy, Mont., in DuPont Hot Hues Midori Sour (741517) with DuPont ChromaPremier 72500S Appearance Clear.

• 2011 Chevy Camaro SS – Custom painted by Infinite Auto Design, Huntington Beach, Calif., with DuPont ChromaPremier Suzuki Copper Brown (M3469).

• 2008 Audi A4 – Custom painted by Infinite Auto Design, Huntington Beach, Calif., with DuPont ChromaPremier  LT Arctic Grey (B934).

• 1971 Chevy Chevelle SS – Custom painted by Infinite Auto Design, Huntington Beach, Calif., with DuPont ChromaPremier 2010 Lexus Bluish Crystal Shine Effect (Code 074).

• 1969 Plymouth 440 Cuda, 1 of 81, 35th built; painted with DuPont ChromaBase B5 Blue with black stripes; vehicle owned since 1976 and all work performed by Ron Rebich, NW MuscleCars of Clinton, Mont.

• Several vehicles in the DUB Magazine experience display area outside of North Hall customized and painted with DuPont ChromaPremier by Spade Kreations, Cincinnati, Ohio.
