FinishMaster Acquires Auto Paint and Supply of Lakeland Inc.

APS's two locations will merge with FinishMaster's existing locations in both Lakeland and Sarasota, Fla.

Uni-Select Inc., a major distributor of replacement parts and paint products for motor vehicles in North America, announced that its subsidiary, FinishMaster Inc., has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Auto Paint and Supply of Lakeland Inc. (APS) located in Lakeland and Sarasota, Fla.

According to the company, this acquisition will complement the operations of FinishMaster and will strengthen its leading position in the distribution of automotive paint, coatings and related accessories.

APS has been servicing the local collision repair industry for more than 15 years and includes two locations, which will merge with FinishMaster’s existing locations in both Lakeland and Sarasota. FinishMaster currently operates 27 other locations in Florida and aims to provide superior distribution service and value-added information to its customers, enabling them to increase productivity, manage material costs and increase profits.
