Fix Auto Canada to Use Mitchell RepairCenter Across Entire Network

Mitchell International, Inc., announced that Fix Auto Canada, one of the largest collision repair networks in Canada, has selected Mitchell RepairCenter for use across its entire organization of 200 franchise centers.

Using RepairCenter as its primary business management solution provides Fix Auto facilities with a comprehensive suite of tools to help them manage the repair, the customer experience and the business — all from a single cohesive shop "Workspace," according to Mitchell.

RepairCenter will host Fix Auto’s proprietary Standard Operating Procedures, making them accessible from the Workspace, along with a variety of user-friendly RepairCenter tools, including: job tracking, automatic customer updates, parts management, opportunity tracking and follow-up, labor and production management, paperless office tools, task management and analytics. RepairCenter’s integration with popular accounting applications such as Sage Simply Accounting and QuickBooks will help Fix Auto improve efficiency with its accounting practices and ensure consistency across the FIX Auto Canada network.

"We were looking for a centralized solution that could be easily adapted to Fix Auto’s unique business model and proprietary data systems to drive performance at the individual shop level, as well as provide robust reporting and management tools for our corporate managers," said Steve Leal, chief operating officer of Fix Auto Canada. "Mitchell RepairCenter provides exactly what we need to take our network into the next generation with new technology and tools to increase efficiencies in all areas of our business. Transitioning the shops to RepairCenter is a natural extension of our long-standing partnership with Mitchell."

The system-wide implementation will begin rolling out this month. French language reporting functionality will be launched in RepairCenter later this year, in advance of the migration of Fix Auto’s Quebec shops to RepairCenter.

"Mitchell’s ongoing goal is to help shops succeed for the long-term by providing them with solutions that fit their business needs both today and tomorrow," said Mike Jerry, vice president and general manager of Mitchell’s Canadian Operations. "We are excited about our extended partnership with Fix Auto Canada and are looking forward to addressing their current business model as well as helping them continuously improve operations with additional functionality as their network grows and their requirements evolve over time."

RepairCenter allows shops to select the tools they want to manage the repair, the customer, and the business the way that best meets their needs, and to add modules as their business grows — all from within their own personalized Workspace, according to Mitchell.
