Fix Auto USA Approves CCC ONE Total Repair Platform for Network Shops

CCC Information Services Inc. and Fix Auto USA today announce the approval of CCC ONE as a repair management platform for Fix Auto Network member shops. In connection with this approval, CCC will develop a data interface between the CCC ONE Total Repair Platform and Fix Auto’s advanced performance management and peer reporting system for its Fix Auto Network members.

The integration of CCC ONE with the Fix Auto system will assist Fix Auto to more closely manage cycle time, productivity and customer satisfaction data. Work on the interface has already begun by both organizations and is expected to be completed early in the second quarter of 2010, at which time CCC ONE will be an approved platform for the needs of Fix Auto member shops.

With CCC ONE’s ability to connect the work in the front office to the work being done on the shop floor, it is the single application supporting a complete and logical repair process – not just individual tasks, CCC says. In addition, CCC ONE users benefit from connections into the industry’s largest auto claims network.

Paul Gange, President of Fix Auto USA, stated: “CCC has delivered a powerful new platform with CCC ONE, and it is being deployed in many of our shops. As our organization focuses on enabling best-in-class repair centers to constantly improve their operations, working closely with CCC to extract and report performance data from the system is critical. Our agreement with CCC establishes the means to build a fully automated process so our shops can continue to work efficiently and benefit from our proprietary tools without the need for redundant data entry.”

Jim Dickens, Senior Vice President of the Automotive Services Group at CCC, added: “Fix Auto USA is a recognized leader in deploying technology to enable a more efficient business process. We’re gratified that Fix Auto USA has recognized how the CCC ONE Total Repair Platform can assist them in their goals of more efficient shop operations and improved customer service, whether the end-user is a single shop or a multi-site operation.”

One of the Fix Auto member shop owners that evaluated the CCC ONE application is Richard Fish, CEO of Coast Collision Centers of Carlsbad and Tustin, California. “CCC ONE is clearly a major advance in repair facility automation, and represents a next-generation leap ahead of anything else that is available,” said Fish. “Along with lean process management and other key initiatives, we expect that the deployment of CCC ONE will help us toward our goal of being the among the nation’s most efficient repair organizations."
