Ford Certifies Latest Pro Spot Welder

Automaker announces North American and global certification of Pro Spot SP-5 MIG welder for aluminum and silicon bronze applications.

Ford Motor Company has announced North American and global certification of the Pro Spot SP-5 MIG Welder for aluminum and silicon bronze applications.

This approval of the SP-5 joins many other Ford-approved Pro Spot products, including:

  • Pro Spot I-4 Inverter Spot Welder
  • Pro Spot I-5 Smart Inverter Spot Welder
  • Pro Spot PHS-100 Hybrid Spot Welder
  • Pro Spot PR-111,112,113 Inverter Plasma Cutter(s)
  • Pro Spot AL-5 Aluminum Stud Welder Gun and Aluminum Station
  • Pro Spot NP-3 Nitrogen Plastic Welder

The SP-5 Smart MIG Welder is a five-in-one MIG welder for aluminum, steel, silicon bronze, TIG and stick welding. It comes with three torches that automatically change the weld program and synergic curve when the trigger is touched, saving time and hassle, according to Pro Spot.
