Ford announced its further commitment to semi-autonomous technology Feb. 22nd during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company announced it will triple its engineering investment in semi-autonomous vehicle technologies as the company continues to expand its Ford Smart Mobility plan.
Ford is developing two new features that further them down the path toward vehicle automation. Traffic Jam Assist will aid drivers with steering, braking and acceleration in heavily congested traffic situations. And Fully Active Park Assist will help drivers by steering and controlling the transmission, throttle and brake to seamlessly pull into a parking spot.
