National Collision Industry Alliance (NCIA) founder Norbert Zaenglein’s 2007 book, “In Dangerous Hands: Automobiles, Insurance & Political Corruption in Nebraska,” is now available as a free PDF download from the NCIA Yahoo group page.
The book is based on four years of independent research of the property-casualty market regulatory system, according to Zaenglein. He says the book can help collision repairers, who he believes are losing ground to the “strong-arm tactics of the insurance industry.”
“While this research was primarily based on failures in the automotive windshield markets, the study’s insights and conclusions are of particular importance to the collision industry,” he said in a message to NCIA online group members. “Because the collision industry is facing unprecedented challenges, it should avail itself of all available resources including those not produced under the umbrella of established collision industry associations and forums.”
