Garmat has announced that painter Gary Gonzales of Plano, Texas, has won the grand prize SEMA trip for two as part of the company’s second annual Sharp Shooter Contest. This contest was designed to recognize quality paint techs and shop owners that use Garmat equipment. Gonzales’ manager, Kevin Kidwell, will accompany him on the trip.
Judging was based on the shop owner’s and paint tech’s dedication to providing quality paint jobs, superior customer service, attention to safety and overall equipment knowledge. Additional questions included an inquiry on how Garmat could improve their experience with product updates.
"Gary is a humble guy; he was surprised he had won, and is very excited because he has never been to SEMA or Las Vegas," said Kidwell.
In addition to the grand prize, five finalists received leather jackets for both the tech and body shop owner, and each entrant was awarded a Garmat Sharp Shooter cap.
