GIECO, the nation’s third-largest auto insurer, has filed with the Massachusetts Division of Insurance to sell policies in the state beginning in May.
The move makes GEICO the second major insurer to move into the Massachusetts market since the state moved to “managed competition” for auto insurance about a year ago, with Progressive being the first.
