A body shop in Clayton, Ga., started 2010 on a high note after winning the Georgia Lottery instant game $500,000 Hold ‘Em Poker.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that James Darnell, 60, scratched the winning ticket at home on New Year’s Eve. Darnell’s son bought him the ticket at the Clayton Food Mart.
Darnell, who has owned his body shop for 30 years, says he will make some home improvements with the prize money.
The newspaper did not name Darnell’s shop.
