Global Finishing Solutions to Feature Giveaways and Demos of REVO Systems and More at SEMA Show

A drawing will be held for a REVO handheld unit each of the first three days at booth no. 11153, with a drawing for a REVO Rapid MC2 at the end of the show.

Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) announced it will be demonstrating and giving away its REVO Accelerated Curing Systems during SEMA 2016 at booth no. 11153.

“GFS is excited to bring REVO Systems back to SEMA 2016 to demonstrate how this technology can rapidly cure filler and coatings in order to improve both paint shop efficiency and quality,” said Brandon Lowder, vice president of auto refinish sales at Global Finishing Solutions. “We believe REVO Systems to be a game changer in the automotive repair industry and, with these giveaways and demonstrations, we’re excited to get this technology in the hands of more people.”

A drawing will be held for a REVO handheld unit each of the first three days, with a drawing for a REVO Rapid MC2 at the end of the show. Attendees will be able to enter to win by attending REVO demonstrations held throughout the week at booth no. 11153:

  • Tuesday: 2-2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10:30-11 a.m. and 2-2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10:30-11 a.m. and 2-2:30 p.m.

REVO Accelerated Curing Systems, which are available in multiple models, use short-wave electric infrared technology to significantly reduce curing times for both prep and paint phases of repairs. GFS states that each model allows technicians to speed up the repair process by hours, increases shop throughout and delivers high-quality results at a fraction of the energy cost compared to conventional curing methods.

In addition to the REVO Systems, GFS will be showcasing its Wave filters at booth no. 11243, where attendees will be able to sign up for a GFS Wave free filter trial. GFS Wave filters accommodate all paints and a wide array of spray applications – from clearcoats to high solids. The patented wave pattern of the filter provides more surface area than normal polyester exhaust media, reducing run-off for a cleaner booth and easier filter changing. With 99.94 percent particulate removal efficiency and a holding capacity of 4.4 lbs., Wave filters hold more overspray while still achieving excellent airflow.

“Wave filters provide the perfect combination of long service life and low cost without sacrificing performance or overall efficiency,” said Mick Ramis, parts and filters business unit manager at GFS. “We believe anyone who tries these filters will find it to be the most versatile single-stage exhaust filter media made for paint booths.”

Along with its two indoor displays, GFS will also be partnering with Axalta again for an outdoor paint booth experience. Located in the Silver park lot at booth no. 61009, Axalta’s outdoor experience will include demonstrations and classes throughout the week. Their display will feature a GFS Ultra XR semi-downdraft booth, equipped with GFS AdvanceCure premium booth accessories and a GFS REVO Speed System to demonstrate rapid curing. The schedule includes two days of REVO Speed demonstrations, as well as custom painting, waterborne classes and more throughout the week.
