Goff’s Enterprises’ Tony Goff Named Man of the Year by Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Southeast Wisconsin for Record Fundraising Effort

Goff’s Enterprises, Inc. announced that Tony Goff has been named Man of the Year for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter. LLS’s Man and Woman of the Year Campaign is a 10-week fundraising competition among individuals in communities across the U.S. to raise funds for research and support for families affected by blood cancers.

Goff’s campaign turned in a record $57,963 for the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter. The centerpiece of his campaign was large scale, black tie optional event at the Calatrava at the Milwaukee Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wis. The event consisted of a live concert in which Tony was the lead singer of the newly formed “52nd Street” Billy Joel Band. The night also featured live and silent auctions and speeches by Marla Buth, the mother of the girl of the year, Corah Buth, and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, who recently revealed her battle with cancer.  Through the efforts of all candidates in the SE Wisconsin Chapter, a total amount of $203,000 was raised.

“I want to thank all of you that contributed to the campaign in so many ways. From the personal and corporate donors, to the volunteers and businesses that gave auction items as well as services that benefited our ‘Night at the Calatrava’ event, there are literally hundreds of people that contributed to our campaign’s success!” said Tony Goff. “Together, we really made a positive difference in the lives of people battling blood cancers.”

And the positive momentum created by this campaign will not end here. Goff has partnered with Cory Zimmerman of Z2 Marketing and created the This Time Tomorrow Foundation. They will continue to raise funds for several different cancer organizations, including LLS, and will hold another event next year. Because of the amount Goff raised during the campaign, The This Time Tomorrow Foundation will soon be the naming sponsor of a grant being used to fund additional research for LLS.

Goff is President of Goff’s Enterprises, Inc., the original manufacturer of the curtain wall. Started in 1987, Goff’s product line includes curtain walls, high speed industrial vinyl and mesh roll-up doors , welding curtains and screens, strip doors, noise control products, climate curtains and food processing curtains.
