Goliath Carts Releases New Products at 2011 NACE Show

Goliath Carts, a provider of workflow and efficiency solutions to the collision repair industry, is announced the release of several new products at this year’s 2011 NACE Expo. All of the new products have been designed specifically for use in key areas of the shop and to enhance the functionality of the G1 mobile powered cart, according to Goliath.

The new products are as follows:

The P1 Prep Cart – This cart streamlines the paint department workflow and gives the shop owner a tool to manage and control the inventory being used by the department, according to Goliath. The cart has all of the tools that the technician needs and, more importantly, it provides security for those items. The enclosed design of the cart also ensures that a minimum amount of contaminants will get on the paper rolls and supplies. And, even though each shop has a different methodology for controlling material usage, the technician is typically responsible for securing the contents once they have been issued. The Goliath P1 prep cart now eliminates the common practice of grabbing materials from an open and unsecured cart. When appropriate, the cart can then be inventoried and restocked to levels deemed necessary by management.

The L1 Laptop Security Cabinet – This product is a wall mounted laptop cabinet that has both an electronic touch pad and a key to maintain laptop security. Shops and dealerships can use this product to provide computer access to technicians and service department employees while maintaining the security needed to protect these items. From technicians logging in and out of jobs to providing computer access for diagnostics or repair procedures, the Goliath L1 Laptop Security Cabinet allows secure computer access as well as providing a clean environment for laptop storage. The unit is also well vented, has access for cables, a removable back plate for electrical outlet placement, an audible alarm when security is breached and additional storage for client electronics.

Goliath Carts has also engineered a number of accessories for the Goliath G1 Cart. These include the following:

• Goliath Inspection Mirror – This is an inspection mirror for estimating, inspection and QC.
• Goliath Umbrella Mount – This product allows a shop to add a standard patio umbrella for additional shade.
• 19” Rails – This allows conversion of the printer compartment to house standard computer and AV equipment.

The Goliath G1 Cart, which received the “Best New Product of the Year” award at NACE 2010, is a rugged powered mobile workstation system, providing “desk on wheels” functionality that allows companies to have a fully functional computer workstation at the car.
