Hertz Partners with DuPont ProfitNet Management System

ProfitNet will now allow collision repair shops to automatically upload their repair order status information directly to Hertz Gateway.

The Hertz Corporation and DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) have partnered to utilize the ProfitNet Management System to interface with Hertz Gateway. ProfitNet allows collision repair shops to automatically upload their repair order (RO) status information directly to the Hertz Gateway.

ProfitNet provides key data regarding the vehicle repair and a projected completion date, while also giving any delivery date changes and reasons for change. This eliminates the need for Hertz to contact the collision and auto repair shops, minimizing the number of follow-up phone calls Hertz makes to shops regarding the status of repairs.

“Working with DuPont Performance Coatings and its ProfitNet Management System is a natural fit for Hertz,” said Kent Seavey, president, Hertz Off-Airport Operations. “The new interface with ProfitNet will enable Hertz to provide seamless service to both the collision repair shops and our mutual customers, providing a win-win situation for all parties and enhancing our overall service to the insurance replacement industry.”

“This latest interface with Hertz Gateway is another enhancement to ProfitNet that provides key information exchange with industry partners so together we can help our mutual collision center customers lower their administrative workload,” said Nick Bozzacco, DPC Strategic Relations manager. “DuPont Performance Coatings and our partner, YADA Systems, are dedicated to enhancing ProfitNet with the latest partner interfaces to lower shops’ administrative costs by minimizing redundant computer tasks and providing a management solution that’s affordable, easy to use and communicates with key industry software applications.”
