Hertz Rent-A-Car Announced as Presenting Sponsor for the 2012 NABC Annual Golf Outing

The National Auto Body Council (NABC) announced that Diamond Level member Hertz Rent-A-Car is again the presenting sponsor for the NABC Annual Golf Outing.

This event is the principal fundraiser for NABC and plays an integral part in providing the resources to support the organization in its mission to identify, develop and implement initiatives that promote a positive image of the industry. In addition, this kind of assistance reduces the cost of NABC’s programs for participants, making them more affordable.

The NABC Annual Golf Outing presented by Hertz takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at the Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort in Palm Springs, Calif., in conjunction with the NABC’s open board meeting, which will take place the previous day, Tuesday, Jan. 10. The format of play will be a four-person scramble. Individual golfers and groups are welcome.

“The NABC is very excited and appreciative to announce Hertz as the presenting sponsor for our 2012 golf outing,” said NABC Director‐at‐Large and Fundraising Co‐Chair David Merrell. “Hertz is a longstanding NABC supporter, and its generous efforts, along with those of others, are sure to make this our most successful event to date, as evidenced by the number of exciting changes and additions we have in store for this year’s participants. It should be a great day!”

For the first time, the event will get off to a rousing start with breakfast at the golf resort, scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. This will be followed by a very special presentation on the golf course at 9:30 a.m.— vehicle gifting, part of NABC’s renowned Recycled Rides® program. The outing’s shotgun start will follow at 10 a.m.

Transportation will be provided by Hertz from the event’s official hotel, the Palm Springs Hilton, to Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort. Busses will depart at 7:45 a.m. Beverages will be provided along with the opportunity to win many outstanding prizes. The day will conclude with an awards reception. Return transportation to the Palm Springs Hilton will be provided by Hertz.

Those who wish to participate in the 2012 NABC Annual Golf Outing presented by Hertz may click on the Registration Form link from www.autobodycouncil.org and either e‐mail or fax the completed form back. NABC must receive these by Dec. 31.

Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available for those companies or individuals interested in supporting the NABC. Please download an event sponsorship form by clicking on the Sponsorship Form link from www.autobodycouncil.org.

The NABC also welcomes donations of prizes, raffle items, or items for the golfer’s bags from anyone interested in a special marketing opportunity. Please contact the NABC administrative office if you would like to donate.
