Houston Lexus Dealer Named Toyota/Lexus Certified Collision Center of the Year

A special recognition dinner event was held last month at Lakeside Country Club in Houston, Texas, to celebrate Houston-based Westside Lexus as the recipient of the 2008 Toyota/Lexus Certified Collision Center of the Year. Westside was selected from among the 168 nationwide Toyota and Lexus Certified Collision Center (TCCC/LCCC) dealers and is the first Lexus dealer collision center to have won the award.

Roger Foss, national field support manager for Toyota Motor Sales presented the award.

“This award goes to the dealer that best exemplifies the spirit of certification,” Foss said. “All 168 dealers were evaluated on a points system based on customer satisfaction, manager, estimator and technician certification, facility and equipment requirements and benchmark achievements.”

Accepting the award for Westside Lexus was Jack Kendall, president; Brett Aldridge, general manager; and Ronnie Brush, collision center manager, who also shared the award and the evening with 38 collision center employees and their guests.

“I can attribute the success of 2008 as a result of our participation in the TCCC/LCCC program as well as the support from PPG and their MVP and CertifiedFirst Network programs,” Brush said.

“We continue to be proud of our supplier relationship with Toyota Motor Sales and importantly the product and support provided to Westside Lexus. We congratulate Westside for an outstanding 2008 and their impressive start to 2009,” said Steven Topczewski, PPG business development manager.

PPG and TASCO Auto Color, a PPG Platinum Distributor, attended the event and presented commemorative jackets to all shop personnel. For more information about PPG, call (800) 647-6050 or visit www.ppgrefinish.com. For more information about Westside Lexus, visit www.westsidelexus.com.
