H&V Collision Center Donates Car to Deserving Mother

MSO partners with State Farm to donate a car to a needy community member, marking its 13th car donation since 2009.

H&V-Collision-CenterH&V Collision Center announced it has partnered with State Farm to donate a car to a needy community member. The donation will be made at H&V Collision Center’s Saratoga Springs location on Nov. 24th. This is H&V’s 13th car donation since 2009.

The 2015 car donation recipient is a single mother from Amsterdam, N.Y., who was selected based on her perseverance through countless life challenges. In 2014, her son was diagnosed with leukemia and an immune system deficiency disorder. A reliable vehicle is a necessity to safely and regularly transport her son to the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

“We are so pleased to be able to present this gift to a very deserving family,” said Vartan Jerian, Jr., owner of H&V Collision Center. “With three young children of my own, I cannot imagine the difficulties our recipient has faced while supporting her son’s battle with a life-threatening illness. H&V Collision Center is proud to give back to our local community and hopes that this new vehicle will make this family’s struggle just a little easier.”
