I-CAR Appoints Market Development Analyst

I-CAR has appointed Robert Humpal to market development analyst. Humpal will report to I-CAR Director of Marketing Joyce Kasmer and will be responsible for data mining and statistical analysis/modeling to identify key touch factors that influence and/or predict customer behavior. He’ll also be accountable for collecting and analyzing market segment and industry data to support strategic planning.

I-CAR says Humpal’s role is critical in providing fact-driven data on market needs which will ultimately help the promotion of I-CAR products and services. Humpal will be a key leader in analyzing "Voice of the Industry" data, which I-CAR says is necessary to collect and assess to provide the industry the training it demands.

Humpal brings over 15 years of market research experience to I-CAR with proven skill in developing business plans, including forecasting market demand, customer profiling, and product design and launch. He has completed Six Sigma Green Belt training and has also been part of product rationalization teams in the past, which worked to reduce redundancy and make logical consolidations of product offerings.

Most recently, Humpal was a sales and marketing analyst for OfficeMax, Inc. His automotive background includes several marketing and research positions with Chicago Rawhide (SKF) and Everco Industries (Moog Automotive).
