IAA and 3M Employees Join Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees

The Collision Repair Education Foundation has announced that Don Hermanek, senior VP and chief client officer of Insurance Auto Auctions, and Renee Ricciotti, national sales manager at 3M, have joined its Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees consists of industry members who provide guidance in the organization’s efforts to support secondary and post-secondary collision students nationwide. The Board selects recipients of the organization’s annual student scholarships and tool grants in addition to naming the winning Ultimate Collision Education Makeover schools.

“I would like to thank Don and Renee for joining our Board of Trustees," said Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski. "Both 3M and Insurance Auto Auctions have been longtime supporters of the Collision Repair Education Foundation and our efforts to support the future professionals of the collision industry. Both will be valuable additions to our Board of Trustees as we work towards taking this organization to the next level and enhance our ability to support secondary and post-secondary collision school programs, instructors and students.”

Added Hermanek, “The Collision Repair Education Foundation works tirelessly to build awareness of the industry and developing the leaders of tomorrow, and I am excited to join the Board of Trustees of such a valued organization. IAA has a longstanding commitment to education-focused organizations such as the Collision Repair Education Foundation and I am pleased to be able to work closely with the rest of the Board in guiding and cultivating the careers of promising students, who will undoubtedly be the next generation of leaders for our industry.”

Ricciotti noted, “I am honored to be elected to a worthy collaborative organization. Representing 3M, supporting the schools, students and the future of our industry is where I would like to contribute my talents while making a difference in our community.”
