The Automotive Service Association (ASA) welcomes the Indiana Auto Body Association (IABA) as its newest Supporting Association member. IABA has joined ASA to better align both associations in addressing common issues on behalf of members and the industry at large.
“We are pleased to be part of ASA as a supporting association,” said Tony Passwater, IABA executive director. “As an independent state association, we feel it is best for not only our members, but also for the industry, to be supportive of all national associations dedicated to improving and supporting the collision repair industry. This keeps us unified not fragmented to address the current issues our industry is facing.”
Added Dan Risley, ASA executive director, “ASA is pleased to welcome IABA as its second supporting association. Earlier this month, we announced our inaugural supporting association, the National Alliance of Paintless Dent Repair Technicians (NAPDRT). These two organizations joining our newest membership category is significant. Working cooperatively opens the doors to greater possibilities. In unity, there is strength.”
“As an independent state association, it is a pleasure to take a stand with the Automotive Service Association to support our members and tackle the issues and challenges our industry faces today,” said Scott Blake, IABA president. “It is very important that we band together and continue to work toward removing outside influences that adversely impact our businesses and industry.”
