Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI) has announced it will hold the Great Designs in Steel 2015 event on May 13, 2015 at the Laurel Manor Conference Center in Livonia, Mich.
Industry experts will discuss the methods for collision repair for vehicles made from advanced high-strength steel as well as new techniques and tools first responders are using to protect victims during a crash.
Ralph Gilles, head of design, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Nev., will be the keynote speaker for the event.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., with welcoming remarks at 8 a.m.
