John Bosin Named FIX USA Director of Membership

FIX USA announced that long-time industry veteran John Bosin will assume the role of director of membership. The announcement was made at the company’s annual conference that took place Sept. 21–24 in Laguna Beach, California.

In this newly created position, Bosin will work closely with Paul Gange, president and chief operating officer, and become a member of the FIX USA management team. Specifically, Bosin will be responsible for delivering value to FIX USA member shops.

Bosin is transitioning from his two-year-old leanbosin consulting business. He is independently certified as a Lean Six Sigma Sensei, and since leaving AkzoNobel in 2008, he has taught and consulted on lean, as well as moderating and facilitating body shop and jobber performance groups. While at AkzoNobel, Bosin served as the west coast general manager and the North American manager of color and OEM relationships. Bosin is currently treasurer of the Collision Industry Foundation, a board member of the National Auto Body Council (NABC), and is serving his second term as the chairman of the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) parts committee.

“I’m excited to be joining FIX USA,” said Bosin. “I’ve known and admired Paul and Erick Bickett, founder and CEO of FIX USA, for years. Now, as part of the outstanding FIX USA management team, I can serve our independent repairers and help realize the vision Paul and Erick have for FIX.”

"We are pleased to welcome John to FIX USA,” said Gange. "His wealth of experience, expert knowledge of collision repair processes and lean procedures, and long track record of proven commitment to the industry make him a perfect fit for our growing organization."

Bosin will be based in the FIX USA headquarters in Anaheim Hills, Calif.

FIX currently has over 170 locations in the U.S. and 180 locations in Canada, making it one of North America’s largest networks of independent collision repair centers.
