Kadel’s Auto Body Promotes Two Employees

Kadel’s Auto Body of Portland, Ore., announced that it has promoted two of its employees, Rafael Ramos and Jeff Fetter, to the position of journeyman paint technician.

Ramos joined the company in 2012 and has worked at in Gresham as well as the downtown Kadel’s shop. Aside from repairing automobiles, Ramos’ hobbies include drawing, painting and sculpture. He resides in Battleground, Wash., with his wife, Aleyda, and three children.

Fetter joined Kadel’s in 2010 after obtaining his associates degree in collision repair and refinishing from Clackamas Community College. Originally from Orting, Wash., Fetter now resides in Scappoose, Ore., with his wife, Ashley. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and snowboarding during his time off.

Headquartered in Tigard, Ore., Kadel’s Auto Body was founded in 1954. It’s the region’s largest provider of auto body repair, and the eighth largest independently owned auto body collision repair provider in the U.S. Since opening the first shop in Tigard, the company has expanded to 21 locations throughout the Pacific Northwest including Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

Johana Aguilar, a mother of four, was nominated as what the Child and Family Resources agency called “the perfect candidate” for the Recycled Rides program. Two of her four children require special schooling and medical appointments, and her husband has been ill. The only vehicle they have had has been unreliable. This fully refurbished 2016 Jeep Compass will ease her life tremendously. Freedom Brands owns four Maaco centers and five Meineke Car Care centers throughout the greater Phoenix and Tucson regions.
