Kyle Larson posted the first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory of his career at the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway Aug. 28th. The win came in Larson’s 99th series start and earned him a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup for the first time in his racing career.
Larson won Aug. 28th while dashing around the expansive two-mile speedway in his No. 42 Chevrolet SS for the Target Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates team. The winning car was sporting a red and white color scheme featuring the familiar Target logo painted with the ULTRA 7000 refinish system provided by Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.
