Man Cites Ideal Location, Proximity to New Dealership in Opening Shop

The economy be damned, Bob Gorman is opening up a new 10,500-square-foot collision center in Monroe, Ohio, based on what he calls an ideal location, easy access to a major interstate and adjacency to a brand-new Honda dealership.

“I’ve been looking in Monroe since 2006 for a building that was in the
proper zoning, and this building became available this year. So it kind
of worked out timing wise, and with the Honda dealership opening, it’s
kind of a win-win for me,” Gorman told the Middletown Journal

Gorman, whose Monroe Collision Center will be the only body shop in Monroe, said he initially plans to hire three employees and eventually 11 within the next five years. According to the Middletown Journal, he has 28 years of experience in collision repair and has operated numerous other collision repair facilities.

Monroe Collision Center will feature a waterborne paint system and laser measuring system. Gorman told the Middletown Journal he also plans to offer 24-hour towing.
