Martin Senour Paints’ Training Schedule Emphasizes Lean

More than 25 different classes designed to provide hands-on knowledge to automotive collision management and painting professionals will be offered in the first half of 2009 by Martin Senour Paints.

Classes and technical instruction will include painter certification, VORTEX waterborne systems, color adjustment and blending, fleet refinishing, OEM certification training, accurate repair estimating and workshop efficiency.

In particular, all Martin Senour training sessions will help shop owners, managers and technicians better practice “lean thinking.”

“Every class throughout the Martin Senour Automotive curriculum directly contributes to the lean process by helping them conduct their business while eliminating or reducing waste, all the while helping to increase their productivity and subsequently, their profit,” said Jeff Green, Martin Senour director of sales. “Lean is not a new concept for the Martin Senour Automotive Training Department…it’s just a new way to describe what we do to help our customers improve their business.”
