Martin Truex Jr. collected his first win of the season at the recent Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway May 29th. But it wasn’t just the trip to Victory Lane that Truex and his Furniture Row Racing team celebrated, he made history leading more laps and miles than any other driver in NASCAR history – 392 of 400 laps, and 588 of the 600 miles.

The victory all but locked Truex into a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. He did so by winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ longest event of the year, dashing around the expansive 1.5-mile track in his No. 78 Toyota Camry, which sported the ULTRA 7000 refinish system provided by Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.

ULTRA 7000 is a versatile solvent borne product line that delivers a premium urethane performance.

“We aim to help teams cross the finish line and ensure that their cars and their sponsors always look good circling the track. This victory also represents yet another win for a car painted with Sherwin-Williams,” said Bryan Nichols, motorsports manager for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.

Nichols added, “More than a dozen NASCAR teams currently use Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.” The roster of NASCAR motorsports teams using Sherwin-Williams products include:
