Maryland Body Shop Releases Consumer Information Video

Mark's Body Shop's video highlights faulty repair of a MazdaSpeed6, emphasizing importance of selecting a quality repair facility.

Auto Damage Experts (ADE) has announced that one of its clients, Mark’s Body Shop of Baltimore, Md., with the aid of Lee Emmons of Absolute Perfection Tinting & Graphics, has produced an online video that educates consumers on the post-repair inspection process and illustrates the merits of a quality and safe repair.

The video shows the results of a post-repair inspection of a 2006 MazdaSpeed6 of which the owner was seeking recovery of their remaining loss in diminished value. The owner sought ADE’s assistance, and ADE selected Mark’s Body Shop as the inspection site due to their reputation for service, attention to detail and quality workmanship.

In the video, Mark Schaech, owner and president of Mark’s Body Shop, points out and describes the numerous remaining safety and cosmetic flaws and defects found during the post-repair inspection.

“This video is this quality repairer’s first steps in informing and educating the consumers in their market on the importance of selecting a quality repair facility – one which will work in the best interest of the consumer in the proper repair of their vehicle," says Barrett Smith of ADE.

ADE says additional informational videos are in the works and will be shared in the near future.

“We’re proud of Mark and his company’s ongoing efforts to raise the level of awareness which will enable consumers to make wise choices in the repair of their vehicle – choices which can help the customer to protect their family’s personal safety and economic well-being," Smith says. "We’re proud to have Mark’s Body Shop as members of ADE’s consulting/coaching family. We look forward to other ADE coaching clients taking similar steps in their communities throughout the country.”
