Matrix Announces 2015 Collision Repair Training Schedule

Company's industry-certified training, which includes jobber training and painter training, is now open for enrollment.

Matrix Automotive Finishes has released its 2015 collision repair industry training schedule and is now accepting enrollments.

The industry-certified training includes a:

  • Two-day program designed to educate jobber personnel about paint chemistry and appropriate applications for the complete line of Matrix products
  • Two-day training certification for painters on Matrix product selection and application to maximize shop productivity
  • One-day color theory session where attendees learn how to match and adjust color

Color theory is also offered in combination with each of the two-day sessions, creating a three-day training program.

The classes will be conducted at Quest Automotive Products’ headquarters in Massillon. Matrix is a Quest Automotive brand. The training facility has state-of-the-art tools and equipment for hands-on learning. The instructors are the Quest Automotive technical and training staff.

Jobber Product training classes are scheduled for March 11-12, May 6-7, Aug. 26-27 and Nov. 11-12. Color Theory training follows Jobber Product training on March 13 and May 8.

Painter Product Certification is March 24-25, June 10-11, July 22-23, Sept. 23-24 and Oct. 21-22. Color Theory follows Painter Product Certification on June 12 and Sept. 25. Color Theory training also is offered on March 27.

Those who are interested in attending a training class are urged to contact their Matrix sales representative at least three weeks in advance.
