Matrix System Welcomes the Miller Electric Jet Dragster to Milan Dragway

Matrix System announced that the Miller Electric Jet Dragster will be making its appearance locally this weekend at the Milan Dragway, located in Milan, Mich.

This event is one that means a great deal to Elaine Larsen, driver of the jet dragster, since Middleton, Mich., is where she grew up. It was in Middleton where Elaine attended high school and met her husband of 22 years and career partner, Chris Larsen. Shortly after marriage, Elaine attended her first race at Mid Michigan Motorplex, where she watched the “Lava Machine” jet funny car as it raced down the strip. Now, 20 years later, she is part of a distinguished group of jet dragster drivers showing everyone just how fast she can really go.

This year, Matrix System has teamed up with both Miller Electric and Larsen Motor Sports to sponsor the infamous jet dragster. Matrix System custom painted and airbrushed the dragster with its waterborne basecoat, Aqualution.

“It was important for Larsen Motor Sports to have a high performance basecoat system that was also environmentally friendly,” said Dave Brunori, vice president of Matrix System Automotive. “We decided to use Aqualution as part of the going green movement that has been dominating the automotive industry.”

Larsen Motor Sports will appear all weekend at the Milan Dragway with the Miller Electric jet dragster. Elaine and her crew are excited about returning home to Michigan, where it all began.
