3M has unveiled a solution for when true structural bonding requirements are specified by the automotive OEMs for collision repair – the 3M Impact Resistant Structural Adhesive 07333/57333.

3M Impact Resistant Structural Adhesive is a two-part epoxy adhesive that provides an extended work time, but can be rapidly cured with heat. 3M Impact Resistant Structural Adhesive has adhesion to a wide variety of properly prepared automotive substrates including steel and aluminum.

This adhesive is intended for true structural bonding applications when specified by automotive OEMs, and is recommended for all weld-bonded and rivet-bonded joints.

By applying its advanced science to the challenge and through close working relationships with several OEMs, 3M was able to develop the 3M Impact Resistant Structural Adhesive which can address several of the issues vehicles encounter today during collision repairs.
