miller-multimaticThe new Multimatic 215 from Miller Electric Mfg. Co. delivers all-in-one multiprocess capabilities for MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG and DC stick welding and welds up to 3/8-inch thick mild steel in a single pass. Weighing just 38 pounds, the Multimatic 215 has a small footprint, making it a welcome addition to any shop. The versatile machine can be easily set up for multiple materials and weld processes using the color LCD interface, featuring Auto-Set Elite. Weld settings can be fine-tuned further while in Auto-Set mode. The inverter-based machine provides an extremely stable arc with minimal spatter for less cleanup. Smooth-Start technology ensures consistently smooth MIG arc starts. The Miller exclusive Multi-Voltage Plug (MVP) allows users to weld in more places by simply choosing the plug that fits a 120 V or 240 V power receptacle and connecting it to the power cord. No tools are required. An angled wire drive uses an updated motor in an all-aluminum housing to support longer torch options and deliver smoother wire feeding for better welds. The Quick Select drive roll makes setup quick and easy by offering three grooves – two for different-sized solid wire and a third for flux-cored wire. In addition, Auto Spool Gun Detect automatically detects when a Miller Spoolmate 100 or Spoolmate 150 is connected, eliminating the need to install a spool gun switch. The system’s Fan-On-Demand cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled through the machine. For more information, visit MillerWelds.com.
