Mitchell RepairCenter Integrates with UpdatePromise.com to Enhance Repair Status Communication

Mitchell International, Inc. announced a technology integration with UpdatePromise.com to enhance its RepairCenter auto repair shop software with proactive repair status updates. UpdatePromise is a Web-based service provider that delivers automated repair status updates to auto collision shop customers via text message and e-mail.

The technology-enabled enhancement allows body shop users to manage delivery date promises, repair status updates and customer responses from within the RepairCenter body shop software workspace. This integration ties RepairCenter data, UpdatePromise features and a combined user interface for a truly seamless workflow experience, taking production status from the shop floor to the vehicle owner with a simple click of a button. The widespread use of text messaging gives auto repair shops an excellent option to communicate and connect with their customers in a consistent, proactive way that is relevant to their specific needs and expectations.

"The integration with Mitchell  RepairCenter and UpdatePromise.com gives repair facilities the ability to leverage the most advanced proactive status updating technology for collision repair shops and insurers," said Curtis Nixon, president of Flash of Genius, Inc., parent company of UpdatePromise.com. "We are excited about this partnership and look forward to serving the needs of Mitchell users across the country to help them communicate more effectively with their customers."

Jason Bertellotti, vice president of repair solutions for Mitchell International, added, "Mitchell is pleased to offer enhanced repair statusing functionality through the integration with UpdatePromise.com.
