Robert Gray has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Farécla Inc. at its headquarters in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Robert will be helping to develop the business activities of the company in automotive, marine and aerospace.
The new position has been created in response to Farécla’s continued growth in the Americas. Last year, despite the recession, revenue was 30 percent higher than the previous year, thanks to the popularity of the brand and the increasing penetration into Canada, South America and the Caribbean.
Farécla President Michael Pearson said, "The company has evolved into a very substantial Americas operation and with it my duties and responsibilities have grown considerably, so that there is now a need to bring in a right-hand person who has the breadth of experience required to assist in managing those responsibilities."
"Robert was formerly with Sherwin Williams Automotive for over 20 years in a variety of management positions and brings a wealth of information and industry knowledge," Pearson added. "He is joining a growing company with powerful brands, and his experience will undoubtedly help to strengthen Farécla going forward."
Robert begins his new role on Sept. 7.
