NABC Golf Event Fundraiser Opens Online Registration

Interested participants and sponsors of the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Golf Event Fundraiser can now register online for the event, which will take place Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.

Online forms are now available at for players and sponsors wishing to participate. They simply click a link, fill out the form, and submit it.

These Web-based tools not only make it less of a hassle to participate, but ensure that the relevant information is received almost immediately by the NABC administrative office. Having a direct digital path in place greatly reduces the chance of any errors, as well.

Online submission also allows for additional functionality that was not previously available. The most significant example is a running list of sponsors and their chosen sponsorships maintained and automatically updated. This way, interested parties can see an up-to-date display of the opportunities available to them and waste no time securing the ones that are most appealing.

“It was important for the National Auto Body Council to make it as easy as possible for interested parties to sign up for participation as well as sponsorship, and these new changes to our website make that a reality,” said NABC Fundraising Committee Co-Chair David Merrell of PartsTrader. “We again expect the event to sell out and remain excited to promote the positive image of the industry.”

The Annual Golf Event Fundraiser will again take place at the Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort in Palm Springs, Calif., in conjunction with the NABC’s open board meeting, which will take place the previous day, Jan. 22.

The event is open to both individuals and teams, and will be played using a four-person scramble format. Breakfast will be served at the course prior to the 10 a.m. shotgun start, and the event will conclude with a buffet reception, awards ceremony and prize package drawings. Transportation will be provided to and from the conference hotel.
